The 10th IFToMM -International Conference on Rotordynamics took place from September 24 to 27, 2018 in Rio de Janeiro.

This is the first time IFToMM is held in Brazil. Among the main topics of the conference we highlight the following: Active Components and Vibration Control; Monitoring of Condition, Failure, Diagnosis and Prognosis; Dynamic Analysis and Stability.

 

Inserted in the topic Dynamic Analysis and Stability, Engineers Leandro Zague and Marcelo Accorsi of ETM Turbo together with Dr. Hunter Cloud of BRG Machinery Consulting / USA and Engineer Rogério Campos of Petrobras presented the work entitled: Operational Modal Analysis of a Compressor in Field Operation. He was honored with an honorable mention of the best work presented in the Dynamic Analysis and Stability modality.

 

The organization of the conference was a joint effort of several universities and companies led by Unicamp.
