ETM DIRECTOR IS AWARDED FOR PRESENTING BETTER WORK AT THE 4th BRAZILIAN CO2 CONGRESS

The Brazilian Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels Institute (IBP) has awarded the ETM Energy & Turbomachinery Executive Director Marcelo Accorsi Miranda the best work certificate presented in the topic Risk Assessment of the 4th Brazilian CO2 Congress in the Oil, Gas and Biofuels Industry.

The 4th Brazilian Congress of CO2 in the Oil, Gas and Biofuels Industry is an event organized by the Brazilian Institute of Oil, Gas and Biofuels (IBP). The event aims to promote and debate the technical and scientific aspects associated with CO2 emissions, and to promote the interaction between the various actors that compose the Oil and Gas sector in Brazil.

The executive director of ETM Energy and Turbomachinery presented the work entitled "THE ROLE OF TURBOMACHINERY IN THE TRANSITION TO A LOW CARBON SOCIETY". This article presents an overview of the oil and gas industry in relation to rotating machinery technologies in the context of paradigm shifts in relation to a society less dependent on fossil fuels, given the intense pressure for the decarbonization of the energy, transportation and industrial.

In the article are presented challenges and opportunities in the turbomachinery industry, as well as an overview of the main trends that will affect turbomachinery technology, including design and new applications.

The Brazilian Institute of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (IBP) and the Technical Committee of the 4th Brazilian CO2 Congress in the Oil, Gas and Biofuels Industry, awarded the technical work titled "THE ROLE OF TURBOMACHINERY IN THE TRANSITION TO A LOW CARBON SOCIETY" .

IBP highlighted the high technical standards achieved and announced that the winning entries will be invited to be presented at Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference 2018, which will be held from September 24 to 27, 2018 in Riocentro - RJ.
