ETM aproach for  the preliminary project covers the assessment of the economic and technological limitations of each decision in the design, requirements and specifications of turbomachines, as well as the limitations and uncertainties of the initial requirements of the project.

The methodology includes reliability and maintainability (RAM) and life cycle cost (LCC) analyses, including space and weight studies, especially for offshore applications.
