The construction phase is the longest in the project schedule, and this is the phase when turbomachinery is at the greatest risk of presenting problems due to poor preservation. On the other hand, the assembly phase of the equipment is an excellent training opportunity. ETM and its team of specialists can detect and prevent failures and premature equipment degradation through a program of visits and detailed inspection at construction sites and shipyards.

Inspection and testing at the shipyard and on site

 

The startup and initial operation, when production increases gradually (ramp-up), is prone to premature failure. It is mandatory that commissioning and testing begin as soon as possible after completing the assembly at the shipyard or construction site. ETM offers a unique program to test the equipment at the shipyard. The benefits to the project schedule are huge, saving time and debugging failures at startup.
